Many pirates sailed the seven seas with various degrees of success. Some sailed with birth names such as Drake, Morgan, Roberts & Rackham while others adorned popular names such as Blackbeard & Captain Kidd. Most young sailors dreaming of high sea adventures and valuable treasures are familiar with these names and are capable of authoring detailed stories of their favored pirate captain. Tall tales have come aboard with the history of these well known pirates, but few are aware of the origins of these stories. Born not from the exciting adventures of celebrity pirates, most pirate tales were derived from the adventures of the most successful, not to mention humble pirate to sail the seven seas...... Captain Blue Eye!
Ironic as it may be, the most successful pirate to sail the seven seas
is also one of the least known pirates known to man. Intriguing as they
may be, the lives of popular pirates faded into history and the
so-called treasures they horded were never discovered. History buffs and
scholars proclaim the treasures acquired by pirates were spent in
brothels and taverns and therefore, were never buried. As with their
accounts of the most successful pirates being those with well known
names, their presumptions of "no buried treasures"
tends to discourage them from searching thereby ensuring the
safety of Captain Blue Eye's Treasures.
