Treasure Maps

Treasure Maps are indeed rare, but may reveal valuable information which may provide the treasure hunter with one or several locations of buried treasure. Most treasure maps have been cut into several shards and hidden in different locations, but some are rumored to be in tact and in fair condition.

The general rule of thumb is "the more valuable the treasure, the more complex the map". A map split into multiple shards will reveal a treasure more valuable than a map found in tact.

Each map contains the treasure hunt name as well as key information regarding the location. At first glance, information may seem irrelevant to the treasure hunt, but rest assured, all information available is of great value.

It is written that shards of maps have been placed in smaller treasures and recent claims speak of shards existing within Treasure Clue packs.

For those salty dogs worthy of appointment into the most feared crew to sail the high seas, you will receive your own personal treasure map providing various details of your three buried treasures. Each buried treasure will be named after you and clues to these treasures will not be provided to others pirates. Upon discovery, these three treasures will provide the crew member with a very rewarding horde. In addition, each discovery will provide the crew member with an automatic promotion to the next rank as well as clues and/or maps to additional treasures.

***CAUTION***

For those lucky (or skilled) enough to come across unique items, maps or partial maps, there be great treasure for discovery! Collaboration with other treasure hunters may be necessary, but one should carefully consider the risk/reward factor in sharing information with other pirates. Many a pirate will speak words necessary to acquire information they desire, but a pirate is a pirate and a slow pirate to plunder is merely a sailor with dreams.
