Captain Blue Eye's Caches

In addition to treasures, Captain Blue Eye has a number of cache boxes which have been strategically placed throughout the lands. Cache boxes are utilized to assist crew members in their adventures. Cache boxes have been known to contain anything from information & supplies to pirate gold & cash.

At times, The Captain may use a specific cache box or a series of cache boxes to communicate with the crew. Various riddles & puzzles may appear unsolvable to the average sailor but an experienced pirate utilizing resources such as cache boxes may have the answers before the question is ever asked. Some locations may remain dormant for a period of time while others may be used quite frequently.

The location of a cache box may be discovered in a number of ways. Information may be passed or clues be given regarding cache boxes, but a well equipped pirate needs no assistance from other pirates. In this modern age, the Captain uses improved techniques to locate cache boxes. You might want to say the Captain has "Gone High Tech!".

Utilizing modern technology and the capabilities of a GPS (Global Positioning System) the Captain has buried various Caches throughout the land. These Cache locations are unique and provide the well equipped treasure hunter with a means to gather clues, maps and trinkets which may eventually lead them to treasures.

Cache boxes should not be considered "Treasures" . Treasures may contain various items of value, but not all cache boxes contain items of value. Cache boxes do, however, contain information within the log book which may become extremely valuable during various adventures.

When a pirate finds a Treasure, the entire Treasure is theirs to keep, even the chest. When a pirate finds a Cache box, the items within the Cache may be removed, but the Cache box should be left in the same location. Captain Blue Eye (or an associate) will eventually return to the Cache box to add additional items. If the Cache box is missing, no additional items will be left. In addition, the Cache location will be removed from the database and listed as a "Plundered Cache". No future Cache boxes will be placed at this location.

   Once you discover a Cache location, you may want to revisit the location from time to time to retrieve any items recently placed. Each Cache location is restocked, but there is no "known" schedule.

Treasure Clue Trading Cards have been known to contain information regarding specific Cache locations and some Treasure Maps have indicated several Cache locations within a specified area. Once you have discovered a Cache location, you may want to keep this information secret to increase your chances at retrieving the contents once restocked.

Visiting various cache locations and reviewing information within each log book is highly recommended!
