Treasure Clues & Trading Cards

Clues to treasures exist in a variety of forms! Some may be obvious as with Treasure Clue Trading Cards and others may not be so obvious as within the writings of this web site. Each clue has been carefully designed to reveal information with regards to the location of a specific treasure, but one clue alone may not provide enough information to begin a successful search.

There are no limits as to what information may be provided in a clue! Some clues may reveal a city, address, location, landmark or even a picture. There are multiple clues for each treasure and some treasures may contain clues to additional treasures.

If you discover the true meaning to a set of numbers or a specific word or phrase, you may want to refer to the same true meaning when searching for additional treasures.

The availability of treasure clues vary from treasure hunt to treasure hunt. Some are available for purchase while others are available only through discovery. Captain Blue Eye has a tendency to leave clues almost anywhere. From shopping carts to gas pumps and theatre seats to restaurants......... your discovery may be almost anywhere! The inherent value of each treasure clue rests solely within the discovery.

If you manage to recover a clue to a treasure, you may want to exploit this information as quickly as possible. Multiple clues may provide the same or similar information so the discovery may come down to the treasure hunter with the fullest sails.

Treasure Clue Trading Cards

Unlike most treasure clues, Treasure Clue Trading Cards may provide you with assistance for more than one treasure hunt. Each Treasure Clue Trading Card provides a treasure trove of information and may be used to solve more than one treasure hunt. The most obvious information is the Treasure Hunt Name, Trading Card Number & Treasure Clue. Additional information which may not be so obvious may be contained within the picture on the card or the story on the back.

With each treasure hunt, there is a story associated with the specific treasure, location of the treasure or events leading to the treasure being buried. Each treasure hunt contains a series of Treasure Clue Trading Cards and each Trading Card contains part of the story on the reverse side. Collecting the trading cards to a specific treasure hunt may provide the necessary pieces of information to complete the entire story, but it is not necessary to collect each trading card in a series. Two trading cards of the same card number may contain different elements of the associated story on the reverse side. (For Example - Two Cards Numbered 2972 may have different parts to the associated story on the reverse side).

In addition to providing clues to the treasure hunt noted on the card, each card may contain additional information which may be used for other treasure hunts as well. For example, a clue may state "The password is the third word on card number 151" . Having this information may become key to your success and may prove useful in the future. If you find yourself in need of additional information, you may find it necessary to negotiate a trade with other treasure hunters for a specific card. Rest assured, many a treasure hunt is well worth a small sacrifice.

The availability of Treasure Clue Trading Cards is unique and each Trading Card is randomly packaged to insure secrecy. Treasure Clue Trading Cards are placed in random (public) locations for discovery and all cards may be purchased as well. Purchase is not necessary to collect all Treasure Clue Trading Cards. You may not request a specific card to purchase, but you may purchase, trade or sell your cards.

Additional Treasure Clue Trading Cards are provided to Members of the Captain's Crew for special Time Limited or High Value Treasure Hunts. (High Value Treasure Hunts are treasure hunts with a treasure valued at a minimum of one hundred thousand gold pieces.)
